Quotes From The Press "...This stuff is put across with grotesque enthusiasm by Simon Cadell as Eddie McCuen, a self-confessed comedian who played bits in Helzapoppin, and Maria Friedman as Nikki Crandall, s suspiciously bright actress who both sings and keeps her eye on the plot..." Michael Coveney, The Financial Times (29 March 1988) "...There's also a swell performance by Maria Friedman as teh showgirl who's really a naval intelligent officer - perky, sexy, exuding all-American gusto. She seems to be building a career as the best thing about disappointing shows - Girlfriends, Spin of the Wheel, etc - but surely someone somewhere has a worthwhile property for her..."
